I was a bit skeptical given it had a low price tag. But any reservations were quickly put to rest. The jacket was all it was advertised, and then some. I appreciated the look of it, as it has a nice, sleek look to it. Actually get asked where I got it quite a bit. But what was even better was how it performed. I've stood on side lines at my kids football games with wind whipping across the field, and never felt a thing! Mist and light rain? No prob! Performs better than much higher priced jackets, and looks twice as good. Throw in the customer service you can't beat, and there's no reason this shouldn't be an easy choice for a jacket if you're in the market for one!

My husband had pointed out this jacket to me as soon as the catalog arrived so I knew it was a must for Christmas. He was so excited that he immediately put it on and we were both astonished to see the sleeves were extremely short! They were at least three inches above his wrists and that's with his arms out in front of him at about waist high. At shoulder height the sleeves were at almost to his elbows! My husband is 6'2" so he's tall, but not unordinarily so. I measured the sleeves from the should seam to the cuff and they are only 23 inches long. I will be returning the jacket ASAP. Hopefully there's no hassle since he cut the tags off before putting it on. And, yes, he was crushed that it didn't fit because it's a very stylish-looking jacket and the actual material is very nice.

I have a hard time finding tall size jackets and this one fits perfect. One complaint is that the zipper works hard. I will be sending back for a new jacket. Also the inside seems unfinished.Otherwise the jacket looks and fits great.

It's a nice jacket and looks good. It wears really nicely and feels good while wearing it. The softshell is not quiet like what you would expect if you are expecting it to be like the higher costing softshell jackets. The zipper can be a little tough some time when undoing but it's nothing terrible or unbearable. Overall, this is a good quality jacket and very cost efficient.

  There are size ranges available for this jacket. Large: neck is 16-17", arms length is 34-35", chest is 42-44"; XL: neck is 17-18", arms length is 35-36", chest is 46-48; XL Tall is designed for men over 6'2", and 2" is added in body length and 1-1/2" in sleeve length.

  If your boyfriend wears a size Large, then that is the size I would purchase. If a product runs larger, then it was made to wear larger in order for comfortable movement. Buying anything that is smaller then the size that is what is normally purchased is a bad idea simply because it could then be to small, and uncomfortable to the wearer.

  The Men's Evolution Softshell jacket runs true to size. Legendary Whitetails apparel runs true to size and has a generous cut. I would recommend that you order a size large to ensure proper fit. Plus this will allow room for thicker under garments such as sweatshirts and sweaters.

  Thanks for your question. The fleece lining is throughout the entire interior of the jacket. The 6422 Men's Evolution Softshell Jacket is cut a bit larger than the Night Tracker. The sleeves are larger and the jacket is not as "fitted" as the Night Tracker jacket. I hope this answers your question. Thanks!
