  • Edge Tape Doenst Bend

Comments about Gone Thinking Window Tint:

I applied on the back window of a topper. The edge trim tape doesnt like to make bends without creasing. Otherwise, no complaints. Unique, highly detailed, and looks great.

Comments about Gone Thinking Window Tint:

Got this for Fathers Day and loved it. I did not heed the warning about not having this professionally installed and they ruined it and refused to pay for another one. The pros will put this on just like tint with soapy water and it blurs the laminate. I have already ordered another one and I WILL BE INSTALLING THIS ONE MYSELF. I can't wait to get this back on my truck. The right way!

              A:

Glad you asked, that's very common question we get regarding our tints. We have done testing on our window tints and found they do work with sliding glass rear cab windows.

You will need to take extra steps measuring/cutting and taping the tint edges to assure everything lines up and is secure, but once you get it on properly it will work just fine.

My truck has factory tint will this ruin the look of the gone thinking tint

              A:

The Gone Thinking Window Tint will remain looking the same if you install the window tint over your existing factory medium tinted windows. The window tint will not interfer with your sight looking out of the vehicle, but it will make it harder to look inside the vehicle through the window tint.

The heat from the defrost should not affect the tint.

              A:

The Gone Thinking Window Tint can be installed on rear windows with defrosters. The heat from the defroster should not affect the tint. Make sure to follow the installation instructions that are provided to ensure proper installation. If for any reason you are 100% satisfied, you can return the tint using our very easy and simple return policy. The tint will adhere directly to the glass surface, but if you want to put other decals on top of the tint, the direct contact with the window will be interfered and may not adhere securely.

The truck has factory medium tint now.
What do you think, will I have problems, will it look OK?

Why don't you have a kit that installs from the inside of the truck? I am thinking about purchasing a window tint. But, I live in Wisconsin and am wondering how it will hold up with the snow and ice that could build up on it and freeze.

            • A:

Most tints of this kind install from only the outside and not the inside; however if you install this tint correctly, weather such as freezing and defrosting should not make a difference whether this item is installed on the inside of outside.
